Shocking moment Nando’s customer slaps waitress with a PLATE in brutal ‘unprovoked’ assault caught on CCTV
THIS is the shocking moment a Nando's customer slapped a waitress with a plate in a brutal "unprovoked" assault caught on CCTV.
Footage shows the brutal attack at a Nando's branch in Stratford, east London.
A Nando's spokesperson blasted the attack - saying cops were called "immediately".
CCTV shows a waitress bringing a tray of chicken to a booth where a man was sat with a woman and a child.
Without any provocation, the man lashes out - hitting the waitress in the face with a dinner plate.
The stunned waitress steps back and appears to check her face for injuries before walking away as the man continues to shout at her.

Moments later, the man gets up and walks out of the restaurant with the woman and child.
CCTV shows the man ordering and paying for a meal shortly before the vile attack.
The assault is thought to have happened in one of the Nando's branches in Stratford in March before footage emerged this week.
Nando's said: "This was a shocking and unprovoked attack earlier this year.
"We reported it to the police immediately and have supported our colleague since.
"We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour - the safety of our colleagues and customers is our priority."
Scotland Yard has been contacted for comment.
