A FORMER reality TV star was left frustrated after suffering a wardrobe malfunction just moments before an award show.
She had glammed up in a fashionable latex dress with a sleek high ponytail ahead of the highly anticipated event.
Ella Thomas (@3llathomas) has garnered over 712,000 followers on TikTok, since finding fame on the UK version of Love Island earlier this year.
The 23-year-old Scottish model took to the social media platform to share with her fans the process of getting ready for The Beauty Awards at the HAC in London.
She opted to wear a one-shoulder vegan leather maxi dress from House of CB worth $269, with a pair of glitzy heels and a clutch bag.
“So I’ve already done hair and makeup by me with a little swirl,” she said while pointing at her hair.
“I’ve got this brown leather dress on I’m going to pair with my Cavalli heels and just a little Gucci bag.”
She suddenly screamed as she burnt herself on the heated towel rail behind her while posing from different angles and pouting her lips.
Things got worse when she audibly gasped after realizing something had gone majorly wrong with her outfit.
“Oh my God the dress has burst and I’m about to leave,” she said.
All the smiles that Ella had moments before suddenly vanished from her face as she looked down at the gaping hole on the side of the dress.
She panicked as she grabbed at the material and tried to get the zip to go back up.
“Oh my gosh no this isn’t happening,” she said.
The fashionista looked vexed as she stood back and looked at herself in the figure-hugging brown dress.
She turned the camera off and tried to resolve the blunder before updating her fans.
“I couldn’t fix the dress so I’m just going to have to wear it like this,” Ella said. “I’m already late so here’s the finished look.”
She captioned the post: “A chaotic get dressed with me gone wrong.”
The video racked up over 662,000 views and thousands of likes from people who were still wowed by her stylish outfit.
Many viewers took to the comment section in hysterics but were also surprised by her decision to continue wearing the dress.
Others mocked Ella after realizing that she had ended up wearing the same dress to the event as fellow Love Islander Olivia Hawkins.
