Tesco shoppers rush to huge clearance sale for cosy winter warmer scanning for £9.90 instead of £33
SHOPPERS have rushed to Tesco for a huge clearance sale that has seen a cosy winter warmer scanning for £9.90 instead of £33.
Silentnight's Grey Teddy Fleece Reversible Double Duvet Set leads the range of discounts with its 70% saving.
Two eagle-eyed shoppers had spotted the deals at their local Tesco stores in Wellingborough and Shrewsbury and shared the news on Facebook group "Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group".
The duvet set typically retails for £33 and is described as "supremely snuggly" and "luxuriously soft".
It comes with both the duvet cover itself and two pillowcases, all sharing the same grey colour.
This set joined a range of other products also on clearance sale, including a selection of towels.

The blue and grey towels, which come in many different sizes, now cost between 90p and £2.25.
On Tesco's website, the cheapest available towel at full price, its F&F Home Supersoft Cotton Hand Towel Navy, would set you back £5.
Other colours and sizes of the towels were found priced for at least £7 if ordered online.
Appliances were also blessed with heavily reduced prices, including a selection of Russell Hobbs Eden toasters and kettles that now cost just £18 each.
If bought together, this would only set you back £36, while the cheapest Eden combined set on Tesco's website typically costs £99.99.
Tower's Microwave & Air Fryer also saw itself placed on clearance, setting back buyers just £120.
While we were unable to find this exact product on Tesco's website, it currently retails for £249.99 on Tower's own site, making the saving better than half price.
Beldray's Heated Airer With Wings also saw its price slashed to just £40.
Typically retailing for £54.99 on Beldray's own website, the 15kg capacity airer has 18 heated bars that can hold "full washes".
Proving useful during the colder months, heated clothes airers can act as a handy cost-effective way to dry your garments without using an often-pricey central heating system.
The Facebook posts garnered more than 150 comments and nearly 300 likes from excited shopping fans who tagged their friends and family.
One user said of the duvet set: "I bought a set from Tesco last year and it's still lovely and fluffy.
"I love it."
