I was positive my camera was off on my Teams call but I was wrong – I’m worried my actions could get me fired
A WOMAN has revealed that she was positive her camera was turned off during a work call on Teams, but got the biggest shock of her life when her colleague asked her if there was a ‘problem’.
Siobhan, who is from Australia, recently experienced an awkward video call fail, after her colleague pointed out that her camera was indeed on.
Mortified at the error, Siobhan took to social media to share the blunder, leaving people totally stunned.
In the short video, we saw the blonde beauty eating a bag of Cheeto crisps whilst on a work call, as she explained: “When you were positive your camera was off on a Teams call…but you were wrong.”
During the call, we saw Siobhan wearing a pair of headphones and a lanyard - and by her facial expressions, she clearly wasn’t interested in what her colleague had to say.
Although Siobhan didn’t record her colleague’s face, we could hear the woman say: “Thanks everyone for joining today, I know it’s super early but I just wanted to share our results from our last….”

However, whilst Siobhan’s colleague was speaking, Siobhan shook her head and pulled faces.
Not only this but she even stuck up her middle finger too.

As her colleague was talking, Siobhan’s reactions clearly left her stunned, as she paused several times.
But still unaware, Siobhan leaned towards the camera and began to mouth something, but was quickly left stunned as her colleague asked: “Siobhan…is there a problem?”
Siobhan gasped, in total disbelief that she had forgotten to turn her camera off.
She then penned that she had been “caught in the act” and even claimed: “I’m going to get fired.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @teeyaboss, has clearly left many in hysterics, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed 1.2 million views.
Social media users were left in disbelief at Siobhan’s error and many took to the comments to express this.

Another added: “The first pause should've told you something was wrong.”
A third commented: “I would have fainted.”
Someone else chimed in: “The way my heart dropped.”
Whilst another user chimed in: “My worst nightmare.”
At the same time, another user admitted: “I’ve not done this with my camera, but countless times thinking I was muted.”
