‘How triggering’ says shopper after buying a Lush bath bomb from VINTED that leaves her gagging

A BEAUTY fanatic has urged fellow bargains to steer clear of Vinted when it comes to buying bath bombs.

Vinted is a great way to slash the costs and even find budget-friendly vintage bargains - but according to one shopper, @thelushconnoisseur, you may be better off finding your bath essentials elsewhere.

Taking to TikTok, the Lush super fan shared how their purchase from the popular platform ended up being a major ''fail'', even claiming this was the ''worst bath bomb'' they've ever tried.

According to the customer, the experience was so horrific, they've even vowed to never make the same mistake again and will not order bath bombs from Vinted after this disaster.

At first, however, the Lush item looked promising, as it featured several different colours, ranging from purple to yellow.

But despite being all excited to put the bath bomb to test, things quickly took a sharp turn, as the beauty fanatic chucked the bargain into the water.

As the formula reacted with the water in the bath, it started to fizz - but the teeny bubbles were so round and uniform, it looked like the bath bomb was ''laying eggs'', the shopper said in the video.

''The way they're sticking to the sides of the bath, waiting for them to hatch.''

To make matters even worse, there was also barely any movement in the water, as the bath bomb was moving ''slow''.

Looking at the water, which now had a gross green and yellow tint, the horrified customer said they dreaded ''to think how old this must be''.

''So appealing, can't wait to get in,'' the Vinted customer joked about the ''wee-coloured'' bath.

''Sorry, there is no way I'm getting in this... Goodbye,'' the beauty fanatic added, guessing that the bath bomb had to be ''ten years old'' and it was ''triggering''.

Advising others to not make the same grave error, the Lush Connoisseur wrote in the caption: ''Worst bath bomb I have ever tried, do NOT buy bath bombs from Vinted.''

Grossed out, dozens flocked to comments to share their thoughts, as many struggled to understand why the person had decided to buy the bath essential from the platform in the first place.

One joked: ''I didn’t need a reminder to not do this.''

''Why would you buy a bath bomb off Vinted anyway,'' someone else chimed in.

A worker from the popular retailer said: ''Ok, as an employee, this bath bomb was sold by us maybe a year ago.''

''Someone was probably having a clear out and sold whatever they found in an old Christmas bag,'' another reckoned.

Don't have a bath? Well, you will be delighted to hear that the retailer recently announced they've come out with a bath bomb alternative for all the ''shower Lushies''.

The brand new Shower Bombs have been designed for ''all those who get serious FOMO from not having a tub'', Lush said.

Available in three aromas, the latest shower product works slightly differently than their signature bath counterparts, which scan for up to £14.
