Transfer Deadline Day LIVE: Armando Broja exit EXCLUSIVE, Spurs eye £50m Dominic Solanke deal, Mbappe updates

  • Spurs keeping tabs on Swedish starlet

Tottenham are waiting in the wings for Lucas Bergvall - in case the Swedish wonderkid turns down Barcelona.

Midfielder Bergvall, 17, and his family have been in the Spanish city preparing to complete a move to Barca.

But Spurs have also shown serious interest in the Djurgardens starlet, who has already made his international debut.

The £17 million-rated prospect was understood to have visited Spurs' training ground on Monday.

And while the expectation in N17 is that the youngster does indeed move to La Liga today, Tottenham are ready to pounce if he changes his mind.

  • Blues bag Pritchard after strike

Birmingham City have completed the signing of midfielder Alex Pritchard from Championship rivals Sunderland.

The 30-year-old will link up once more with former boss Tony Mowbray, who he spent 15 months with at the Stadium of Light.

Pritchard had fallen out with the current regime at Sunderland, and last weekend made clear his intentions to leave the club after ruling himself out of selection.

The former England U21 ace moves to St Andrew's for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-and-a-half year deal in the process.

  • Aurier on way out of Forest

Nottingham Forest don't do quiet deadline days.

While the rest of the Premier League are keeping their powder dry, the City Ground outfit continue to wheel and deal their way through the window.

Their latest move could see Serge Aurier leave the club on a permanent basis with Galatasaray extremely keen on the right-back.

  • Arteta frustrated in search for striker

It promised to be a big window for Arsenal, but it has been a frustrating couple of weeks that has convinced boss Mikel Arteta to stick, not twist.

All eyes were on signing a new No.9, with Ivan Toney eyed up as the missing jigsaw piece to the puzzle that is the Gunners' bid for a first Prem title in 20 years.

However, Brentford's valuation of their star striker between £80m and £100m blew those plans out of the water, especially with Arsenal wary of flirting with FFP limits.

Bringing in another defender on loan who could play both at full-back and centre back was also considered, with Jurrien Timber injured and Takehiro Tomiyasu at the Asian Cup with Japan, but there was no progress made on that front either.

  • Hall no! Sebastien rules out Fulham switch

Sebastien Haller has rejected a return to the Premier League after Fulham enquired about the Borussia Dortmund striker.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, the Londoners were given the green light by the Bundesliga giants to speak to the Ivorian last night.

However, the 29-year-old is currently focused on Afcon with his country facing a quarter-final tie against Mali on Saturday, and has no desire to to discuss a deadline day move.

Haller - once West Ham's record signing - has yet to find the net in the Bundesliga this season following his recovery from testicular cancer.

  • Cherries pick up striker Unal

Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Turkish striker Enes Unal from Getafe.

The 26-year-old will join Andoni Iraola's side on loan until the end of the season before the move is made permanent in the summer for around £14 million.

Unal will undergo a medical in Madrid today, with the Cherries facing West Ham tonight.

A new striker arriving could see Kieffer Moore leave on loan, with Championship side Ipswich interested.

  • Rovers' transfer plans in ruins

Blackburn's transfer deadline day plans were thrown into chaos by a late snag in Adam Wharton’s move to Crystal Palace.

The young midfielder spent the day in South London on Wednesday but his £22 million switch almost stalled at the last minute.

It has been ironed out now and the deal is expected to be finalised later today.

However it meant cash-strapped Rovers had to pull the plug on their own £2 million swoop for Orlando City forward Duncan McGuire.

The striker was en route to England when he was informed the deal was off – and is now in England waiting for news.

Sheffield Wednesday are also interested in signing McGuire.

  • All quiet on north-east front

After all the noise earlier in the transfer window, it’s set to be a quiet deadline day for Newcastle.

At one point it looked like Kieran Trippier, Callum Wilson and Miguel Almiron could all be heading for the exit door.

But Magpies boss Eddie Howe has got his wish with no outgoings at St James’ Park as they look to spring a late top-four push.

Manchester City youngster Alfie Harrison, 18, should complete his move to Tyneside today – and with so many midfielders unavailable, he could be part of the first-team squad sooner than expected.

Toon may look to spring a late move today in the loan market but, as things stand, there is nothing in the pipeline.

  • Done deal: Forest loan Rodrigo Ribeiro

Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of teenage sensation Rodrigo Ribeiro.

The 18-year-old striker has moved to the City Ground from Sporting until the end of the season in a switch that could become permanent.

The Portuguese U20 international made his senior debut as a sub against Manchester City in the Champions League back in 2022, and has gone on to make seven first team appearances for the Lisbon club.

  • Forest keen on another keeper

Nottingham Forest have almost had as many goalkeepers as they have had wins since their return to the Premier League in 2022 - but they're not done on that front yet.

Dean Henderson, Keylor Navas, Wayne Hennessey, Matt Turner and Odysseas Vlachodimos have all had a spell between the sticks for the Tricky Trees, and they now have their sights set on Strasbourg's Matz Sels.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Forest have submitted a £5m bid for the 31-year-old stopper, and are confident of wrapping up a deal before the end of the day.

The City Ground club have already brought in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Gio Reyna on loan this week, and could be on the verge of announcing another signing...

  • Blues drop price for Broja

Chelsea are now open to letting Armando Broja go on loan as their dreams of raking in £50 million for the striker crumble, reports Andy Dillon.

Fulham and Wolves have been interested in signing the Albania international but scoffed at The Blues' massive asking price.

Broja has scored only one Premier League goal this season. He did not make his comeback from a serious knee injury until September.

But Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, who have blown £1 billion on new players since they took over the club, were holding out for the massive fee until last night.

They then dropped the price to £40m and are now even prepared to let their former academy player leave on loan until the end of the season.

The deal could include an obligation to buy Broja at the end of the campaign.

  • Burnley taking it to the Max

Burnley will complete a move for Montpellier centre-back Maxime Esteve today, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The highly-rated 21-year-old defender will head to Turf Moor on an initial £10m deal with a 15% sell-on fee also included.

Only Sheffield United have conceded more goals that the Clarets in the Premier League this season, and Vincent Kompany is eager to strengthen his backline.

  • Blades interested in Foxes' Souttar

Sheffield United are weighing up a deadline day move for Leicester's Harry Souttar.

Chris Wilder is keen to strengthen his defensive options for the relegation battle ahead, and has identified the Australian international as a potential option.

Souttar - who starred for the Socceroos at the 2022 World Cup - joined the Foxes for £15m from Stoke a year ago, but has found himself out of favour since Enzo Maresca took over at the King Power.

  • Lyon agree fee for Mangala

Lyon are closing in on the £30m signing of Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala.

The 25-year-old Belgian has been one of Forest's success stories since joining the club from Stuttgart in July 2022.

But it is thought that the East Midlands outfit are required to sell if they are to bring in further recruits before tonight's deadline.

The transfer could also end up facilitating Fulham's capture of Lyon winger Rayan Cherki.

  • Italians chase Brum kid

Atalanta are preparing a final bid for Birmingham's Jordan James.

The Championship outfit have already rejected two offers in the region of £4million for the Wales midfielder, 19.

Brum are standing firm in keeping hold of James, who has scored six goals in 26 Championship appearances this season.

Reports in Italy claim Atalanta are set to make one final push before Thursday's 11pm deadline.

Time is running out and it looks likely that the promising teen star will remain at St Andrew's until the summer unless a deal can be agreed.

Birmingham have been strengthened in their stance after Adam Wharton left fellow second-tier side Blackburn for Crystal Palace for £18million.

  • Sol searching

Solanke, 26, is the top-scoring Englishman in the Premier League with 12 goals and signed a contract extension last September that runs until 2027.

The former Chelsea and Liverpool forward is thriving under Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola.

  • HAPPY DEADLINE DAY

It is officially deadline day for the January transfer window which means that will see clubs scrambling around for last-minute deals to bolster their squads.

Will Dominic Solanke make a £50million switch from Bournemouth to Tottenham?

Is Chelsea going to offload one of their key players, Conor Gallagher this winter?

  • Broja asking price

Chelsea have dropped their asking price for Armando Broja to £40million as they get twitchy approaching transfer deadline.

But Wolves and Fulham are still baulking at the fee for the striker as time ticks away on the chances of a deal being done.

Chelsea initially demanded £50m for Broja, who has scored only one Premier League goal this season.

The 20 per cent reduction is something of a compromise and shows that Chelsea are hoping to offload their one-time academy player within the next 36 hours.

  • Akpom to make return

Chuba Akpom is reportedly set for a swift return to English football.

The former Arsenal prospect joined Ajax last summer in a £10.5million deal from Middlesbrough.

However, the club could look to let him leave back to England.

According to The Telegraph, a number of Premier League clubs are looking at making a late move for the striker.

  • Ange on transfers

Ange Postecoglou has shut down the prospect of Tottenham making any deadline day signings.

Speaking after Wednesday's win over Brentford, Postecoglou said: "I said signings were unlikely yesterday, and they're even less likely today."

  • Forest sign Reyna

Giovanni Reyna has joined Nottingham Forest on loan from Borussia Dortmund.

The American midfielder signs on a temporary deal until the end of the season and will wear the number 20 shirt.

Reyna is the son of ex-Premier League star Claudio and was born in Sunderland before choosing to represent the USA.

He has scored 17 goals and added 16 assists in 121 appearances for Dortmund.

Carlos Alcaraz has left Southampton to join Juventus on loan until the end of the season.

The move includes a £3million loan fee as well as an option to buy for over £40million in the summer.

Alcaraz joined the Saints from Racing Club in January 2023, scoring eight goals in 47 appearances.

  • Wolves sign Lemina

Wolves have completed the signing of Noha Lemina on loan from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old is the younger brother of current Wolves midfielder Mario.

Lemina previously spent time on loan in Italy with Sampdoria.

Wolves have the option to make the loan move permanent at the end of the season.

  • Lino set for Villa

Lino Sousa is now on the brink of completing his move to Aston Villa from Arsenal.

The 19-year-old full-back has penned a four-and-a-half-year deal with Villa through to the summer of 2028.

He is expected to complete an immediate loan switch to Plymouth until the end of the season.

Despite not making a first-team appearance for the Gunners, Sousa has been on the bench in both the league and FA Cup.

  • Broja on bench

Armando Broja has been named on the bench for Chelsea's trip to Anfield.

The striker has been valued at £40million by the Blues ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.

Wolves have already had a loan offer rejected this week, before Fulham submitted a bid on Wednesday.
