Britain’s ‘cheapest garage’ is a £1 way to make your parking problems VANISH as it hits market
BRITAIN'S "cheapest garage" could make your parking woes vanish for only £1.
The lock-up garage in the Welsh city of Newport is listed for only a quid - far less than a £1million garage also on sale in the heart of London's Clapham Common.
The cheap concrete space could be the answer to solving any commuting headaches.
The garage has enough room to store a car and has space for additional storage, with a separate door leading to another area.
That means your motor will be safer with thieves prevented from getting near it and you'll be able to park nearer work.
Sean Roper, of Newport-based Paul Fosh Auctions, said the garage would be ideal for storing your car.

He said: "The lock up, which we've listed with a guide price of just £1, is at eastern end of East Grove Road in the city of Newport.
"It's close to residential houses and flats. If you're in the market for cheap storage then don't miss out on this opportunity.
"I'd say the garage and additional unit could be ideal for vehicle storage or other storage solutions that people may require or for a person in trade needing more space."
The garage is just over two miles away from the city centre - which is around a 10 minute drive.
It has been listed as part of Paul Fosh Auctions April sale at a rock bottom price of just £1.
The unit is available to bid on until 5pm Thursday, April 11.
Compare that steal to a £1m garage currently on sale in the heart of Clapham Common.
The Daily Mail reported that the Clapham garage could be converted into a home with one architect already drawing up a scheme.
The garage is listed as a development site situated on a prime residential road 'between the Commons'.
Photos of the garage show its unimpressive size and rusty door, with the building set amid larger, attractive properties.
Despite its unassuming and underwhelming exterior, the building is considered to be full of potential and could make its new owners a fortune.
The garage's selling agent said the property holds potential for conversion into a residential dwelling, subject to obtaining the usual planning permissions and consents.
Single car parking space goes on sale for £225,000
A SINGLE car parking space is selling for £225,000 in a swanky London location - the same price as a three-bedroom home in parts of the country.
The lot is in a secure lockup only a stone's throw away from Hyde Park, but only smaller cars might be able to fit.
The 6m by 3m metre park on Prince Consort Road in London's SW7 has an entrance in the lockup that is only 2.66m wide.
Most Range Rovers, beloved by west Londoners who might purchase the park, are slightly over two metres wide, leaving only a sliver of room.
The park is currently for sale on Rightmove and is located underneath Albert Court, an apartment complex next to Royal Albert Hall.
The building has a history of expensive car parks, with one going on sale for £400,000 in 2014 and another for £275,000 in 2013.
