‘Show stars have ALWAYS had dance experience moan Strictly fans as they defend Layton ahead of final
STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have come out in support of Layton Williams ahead of the show's final, insisting its stars have always had dance experience.
Due to his his earlier training, the 29-year-old has encountered criticism throughout the series.
To support Layton, a fan shared a clip of one of the show's earliest stars and added the caption: "Here is a clip from the first ever Strictly episode referencing Claire Sweeney's vast previous dance experience.
"Strictly has NEVER been a level playing field. So here's your last reminder before the final to LEAVE LAYTON ALONE!!"
One fan commented: "I used to work as a dance instructor and I KNOW how insanely hard it is to do what you do.
"To learn completely different styles you've never done and to have those insane expectations... I take my hat off to you Layton, you're amazing! x #TeamLakita."

Another added: "People never complained about former Russian Ballet dancer Debbie Mcgee. I love watching you and Nikita dance Layton. You're amazing."
A third penned: "People have to remember that strictly is also an entertainment show.
"Can you imagine how bad it would be if every single contestant was rubbish? We need people like you to blow us away..... for entertainment!"
Most recently former Strictly pro James Jordan slammed Layton's inclusion in the current series as "making a mockery" of the show.
He told HELLO! Magazine: "Is that what Strictly is supposed to be. Is that what Strictly has come to that we have fully-trained dancers on the show? For me, it’s not what Strictly is supposed to be."
Layton and his professional partner Nikita Kuzmin will dance in this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing final.
They will be competing with Bobby Brazier and his pro partner Dianne Buswell and Ellie Leach and her partner Vito Coppola.
