ONE half of X Factor duo Same Difference has revealed some devastating family news.
Singer Sean Smith rose to fame alongside his sister Sarah on the ITV show in the bubblegum pop duo back in 2007.
In sad news for Sean, he revealed how he and wife Lyuda had miscarried a baby just one month after getting married.
He shared the news whilst also celebrating the arrival of his sister Sarah's new little one.
Having shared a post to acknowledge the arrival of his third nephew, Billy, a fan had asked if they had seen Sean at a hospital during the week.
In response, he revealed the saw news about the baby loss.

Sean said: "Yes. Unfortunately my wife and I lost our baby.
"I was there to test that [the problem] is not something genetic."
Sean and Lyuda tied the knot in December 2023 before being dealt the tragic blow.
Amongst the heartbreak, Sean went on to say that babies were "miracles" and how over the moon he was for the arrival of his X factor star sister's third child.
In his post to mark Billy's birth, he said: "Welcome to the world Billy Oscar Wilson. My 3rd Nephew. Born 17.01.24 at 11.08pm, weighing 7lb 6oz. Wishing him a life full of health, wealth and happiness."
Same Difference reached third place on The X Factor's fourth series in 2007.
They went onto release a slew of singles as well as embarking on a nationwide tour.
It was reported that the pair had been handed a £1million record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco label off the back of their TV success.
As well as this, they made regular appearances on kids TV as they turned their hand at presenting.
Same Difference went their separate ways in 2014 before releasing a one-off single in 2020.
Sean has continued to release solo music since his time performing with his sister.
