MasterChef contestant forced off BBC show after gruesome injury – as John Torode rushes her out for medical attention

MASTERCHEF was thrown into chaos after one of the contestants sliced the top of her finger off.

After sharing her excitement for her travel-inspired vegan dish, the amateur chef slipped with her knife.

Just seconds after telling Gregg Wallace about her spicy dish, she sliced a chunk of her finger off.

Holding her wound as it poured with blood, she looked panicked as she told the film crew she'd cut herself and needed a plaster.

John Torode rushed over and said: "I'm sorry to say this, but you've actually cut the top of your finger off and will need medical attention".

The TV chef pointed at her chopping board, which had the missing chunk of her finger.

"Did they have to show us the top of her finger cut off?" one fan wrote on X.

"She’s gone before she’s even here," said another, while a third added: "I was not prepared for someone chopping the end of their finger off in the first 30seconds of #MasterChef tonight."
