Many of you, if you follow snooker, may have seen Ronnie O’Sullivan’s Prime Video documentary, which was released last month.

It had David Beckham as its executive producer and had a premiere at London’s Leicester Square.

It is an incredible film that showcases the vulnerability and complexity of the Rocket, particularly as he won a seventh world title in May 2022.

In the doc, you see a fresh-faced 17-year-old O’Sullivan win the UK Championship in 1993. A result that kick-started his career.

In that tournament, he beat Steve Davis in the quarter-finals and then Stephen Hendry in the final.

Incredible to think that 30 years later, Davis and Hendry are in the comms box, while O’Sullivan remains still active and is the world No.1.
