EMMERDALE fans were confused after spotting a couple hospital blunders as Chas Dingle got a major surgery.
The Woolpack landlady was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer and decided to get a life-saving double mastectomy.
Her mum had died from the same kind of cancer so Chas didn't want to take any risks.
Son Aaron Dingle tried to comfort her before she went into the operating theatre, holding her hand as she lay on a hospital bed.
But viewers noticed a small detail that show bosses had missed.
Some people pointed out that the mum had a nude nail polish on, which docs would have asked her to remove before surgery.

One fan wrote: "I know it’s trivial and small details but Chas is about to have a major operation yet her nails are painted I thought they had to be clear to keep an eye on oxygen levels."
A second agreed: "They do. The writers have failed there."
A third queried: "Why has Chas still got nail polish on? Anyone going into theatre and having general anaesthesia would have it removed!"
While she was operated on Aaron nervously waited with uncle Cain Dingle, fretting that the surgery would not be enough to save her.
Cain tried to reassure him, and during their conversation the mechanic got a text saying that his mum's procedure had finished.

Emmerdale viewers were also baffled by this, asking who sent him the text if his mum was still asleep under general anaesthetic.
One bewildered person questioned: "Did the surgeon text Aaron to say she’s out of theatre??"
Another joked: "Just had major surgery and she texts Aaron to say she's out now lol."
A third asked: "Who sodding text Aaron?"
