Welcome to SunSports Scottish Snooker Open blog
Good morning snooker fans and welcome to SunSport's snooker blog for the Scottish Open.
I'm Tony Robertson, here to keep you updated on the next few hours of snooker action at the Meadowbank Sports Centre in Edinburgh.
The tournament starts today and will run through to December 15.
Gary Wilson made it two wins in a row in 2023 and will be aiming for the title once again this year.
However, he will be facing stiff competition with Scotland's own John Higgins and seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan both among this years competitors.
