According to Audi, this new feature will be 'intuitive like a smartphone'.

Audi says this new design will bring their "quality standards into the digital age' and 'offer a high degree of operating safety".

With just a push of a button labelled RS, Audi drivers will have more access to the cars' systems.

Including: "drive system component temperatures, maximum g-forces, and information regarding tire pressures and temperatures."

This will be displayed with a 10.1-inch screen used to control the infotainment.

Another 8.6-inch display will be located at the centre of the console.

Drivers can use it for controlling: "climate control, comfort and comfort, and convenience functions as well as text input by handwriting or virtual keyboard."

Audi says the lower display can be customised to the "driver's personal preferences".

Audi's virtual cockpit is also integrated with the RS button features and offers drivers a heads-up display on their windshield.

The heads-up display is said not to distract drivers from the road according to Audi.

They said: "The human eye perceives the information extremely quickly – and there’s no need for drivers to refocus from their accustomed long-range view."

The heads-up display will offer drivers different types of information about their Audi motor.

Audi wrote: "Special RS displays provide information on tire pressure, torque, power output, engine oil temperature, boost pressure, lap

Comments left under Carwow's TikTok video showing the new features the RS mode provides were positive.

One viewer wrote: "Best button ofc."

While another jokingly said: "Meanwhile me twisting my car key with only six buttons on the steering."

However, not all of Carwow's subscribers are excited by the button.

One person wrote: "So much piano, black and glare.

"Never ever for me."

Another added: "I personally don't like the rsq8 to be honest."

timings, acceleration measurements, and g- forces here, too."

Another feature this magic button gives drivers is the 'voice control system'.

Already in the RS 6 Avant2 - it turns your car into a "smart conversationalist and travel companion", says Audi.

Drivers can speak freely to the car and receive info about their drive more efficiently.

Audi said: "Audi virtual cockpit plus offer new features including a blinking shift indicator in manual transmission mode which changes the rpm display from green to yellow to red, blinking in a manner identical to that used in motorsport, to indicate the optimal time to change gears.

They added: "Plus, Launch Control, which fully exploits the acceleration potential of the RS 6 Avant performance3 by signalling the ideal moment to accelerate off the line, with new traffic light icons."
