We live in a 360 sq ft tiny house but have our dream bathroom – people say it’s ‘massive’ and looks ‘so spacious’

A COUPLE living the good life has shown tiny house living does not have to mean dark, claustrophobic spaces.

They have now completed their dream bathroom in their 360-square-foot home and it almost defies physics.

People cannot believe how they have squeezed a room that looks so "massive" and "so spacious" into their micro home.

But Brooke & Sol (@mindful.in.maine) has managed it with some careful planning.

They have chronicled the building of their small abode on TikTok and have built a following of over 160,000.

“We designed and built our tiny house," they said, of their cabin-like structure in Maine.

They bought the land from her grandparents for $5,000 and realised how fortunate they were.

Sol's craftsman-like approach to construction has resulted in an enviable home.

Attention to detail is visible in every aspect, particularly storage.

In this post, Brooke showed off their new bathroom to viewers.

“Here’s a tour of our bathroom in our tiny house," she said.

They managed to find some economies when furnishing it.

“We decided to tile our shower and we found an awesome deal on tiles on the Facebook marketplace," she said.

“Because we went with tiles, we chose a glass door instead of a shower curtain so that we could see the tiles all the time," she added.

Every available area was made good use of, including a tiny space next to the shower.

“So Sol built me a vacuum charging station there," she said.

Stylish aesthetics and function continued with some lovely shelving, all built by Sol.

“They’re beautiful and a super-efficient use of space it holds a lot of stuff," said Brooke.

There was ample space for an area dedicated to their on-demand water heater, pressure tank, mop, and broom.

“And here’s the beautiful vanity that Sol built," she said.

Some commenters said her bathroom was bigger than theirs, and they lived in normal-sized housing.

"Having a bigger bathroom was important to us," she argued.

“It was my dream bathroom. So it was cool dreaming about it and then actually being able to build it.”

Commenters were amazed they were able to squeeze so much in and for it still to have an airy feel.

“Bigger bathroom than the one in my house," said one person.

“It’s so spacious for a tiny house," said a second.

“That’s bigger than my bathroom in a normal-sized house that I have to share with two older brothers," wrote a third person.

But there was admiration from others.

“Wow, great work. I’m in love with your little home," was the reaction from one commenter.
