Championship League Snooker LIVE RESULTS: Latest updates as Higgins, Selby, Robertson and Co battle for £205,000 prize

MARK SELBY will battle six of the world's top players to win the Championship League 2024 on home soil.

Bragging rights are up for grabs in Leicester as the snooker tournament is a non-ranking event, but there is plenty of prize money to keep players at the top of their game.

For the Winners' Group - which sees Selby, John Higgins, Neil Robertson, Kyren Wilson, Joe O'Connor, Chris Wakelin and Stuart Bingham go for glory - there is a decent prize pot available.

Not only will the overall winner of the competition earn £10,000, each frame won nets £200, while the highest break will see a £1,000 prize - the overall prize money is set at £205,000.

Championship League snooker is back for the Winners' Group stage of the competition.

There are some huge names in the running, with the likes of Mark Selby, John Higgins, Neil Robertson and Kyren Wilson in the final seven in Leicester.

But one key name is missing the two-day event.

Ronnie O'Sullivan pulled out of the competition before his group had even ended.

Now the Winners' Group will play over two days starting at 11am today with the final taking place on the evening of Wednesday, March 13.
