I got a celeb-brand makeup primer at Dollar Tree – oh boy, it made me look like I had a filter on, I went back for more

A BEAUTY influencer has been left stunned by the amazing effects of a makeup primer.

It was a leap into the unknown when she found the product at Dollar Tree.

But she is delighted she took the gamble because it made her complexion look like it had a filter on.

So convinced was she that she rushed back and bought enough supplies to keep her visage looking gorgeous for some time to come.

Tori Slays (@torislays_1mue) dedicates her TikTok to "makeup for beginners," and "specializes in softglam makeup."

It was just a lucky accident that she found this primer on one of her shopping trips.

The same product sells for $12.34 at Walmart.

“I had run out of my matt primer that I normally use and I was in Dollar Tree and I saw some little promise there," she said.

“I came home and used it and oh boy," revealed Tori. She hadn't been expecting such a good result.

“I put it on my face and the primer made me look like I had a filter on."

To demonstrate her point, she applied the primer to just one side of her face.

“It does come out green but you can’t even see it’s green once you rub it into your face," she explained. But the effect was obvious.

“Look, at that. The primer is smoothing and blurring," she said incredulously.

“Look at my skin, like boom, blurring effect. I’ve been using it like crazy ever since I got it because it is the chef’s kiss."

Commenters to her post informed her that this primer came from the Drew Barrymore makeup line.

“So if you want a good budget-friendly primer, run to your Dollar Tree. Slay queens.

"It is Flower Your Prime. So glad I found it. I went back and bought more because it was that good."

Don't hang around, she urged: “So run to your local Dollar Tree, not walk, run."
