‘You suck!’ rage Netflix fans after streamer axes popular zombie series
NETFLIX users have been left enraged after the streaming platform axed a fan favourite zombie show.
Black Summer ran for two seasons and racked up a huge fanbase before getting cancelled.
The American survival show was set in the universe of Syfy horror series Z Nation.
In the first season protagonist Rose, played by Jaime King, battled to find her daughter Anna during a zombie apocalypse.
The pair were separated during a military evacuation process where they were set to be removed from their suburban home.
Anna made it into the army truck, but Rose got left behind when a bite mark was found on her husband Patrick.

He later turned into a zombie and got shot, leaving his grieving wife to search for her daughter alone.
Rose had to make difficult decisions to find shelter and companions as she hunted for Anna.
At the time fans raved about the show, calling it "better than the Walking Dead".
However, hints were made that there would not be a season three, despite the hype.
Show co-creator John Hyams was asked about the future of Black Summer in 2023, and sadly responded that he didn't think there would be another series.
Now Netflix has confirmed the bad news.
One fan responded to the update angrily, saying: "Netflix has reportedly canceled its best zombie show, Black Summer - Polygon. They better not have canceled! This show it ended on a cliffhanger. I need season 3."
Another with the streaming platform, posting crying emojis and writing: "Why did you cancel Black Summer? Please bring it back."
A third hit out: "Did you guys seriously cancel Black Summer?????"
Someone else piled on simply saying: "You suck Netflix."
