I turned a laundry basket into a giant candy cupcake Valentine’s Day decoration using all Dollar Tree buys, it’s genius
A DIY expert has revealed how she transformed items from the dollar store into a giant cupcake.
The crafter said her hack was "genius" and anyone can do it.
TikToker Bargain Bethenny (@bargain.bethenny) loves to share her holiday-themed creations online.
With Valentine's Day approaching, she shared a "genius" DIY.
The craft starts with a laundry basket and poster board.
She showed viewers how to cut the poster board so that it fits around the laundry basket.

Then, she demonstrated folding the poster board like an accordion or hand fan and gluing the paper to the side of the basket.
Next, you need a pool noodle.
"Place your pool noodle on top of the basket. Figure how much you have to cut off," Bethenny said.
"And what you're doing is you're creating circles that are gonna go on top of the basket."
The basket works as the bottom of the cupcake, the poster board is the wrapper, and the pool noodle is the icing.
The pool noodles can be sealed together with white duct tape, which also can be purchased at Dollar Tree, according to Bethenny.
Once the cupcake has taken form, you can put another pool noodle down the center of the icing so it can hold a balloon.
But don't use a hot glue gun to adhere the candy to the "icing," she warned — it will "destroy" the candy.
Instead, she advised using double-stick tape or glue dots.
To attach larger items, like stuffed animals, she recommended getting some wood sticks from Dollar Tree.
"You'll either tape them to the back of the candy or zip-tied them to your plushies to push them through the pool noodle," she explained.
"That's how I created these jumbo Valentine's Day cupcakes using Dollar Tree products," she concluded, showing off her handiwork.
