‘One of the greatest games ever seen’ Dave Chisnall CRASHES OUT against Ricky Evans in World Darts Championship epic
DAVE CHISNALL crashed out of the World Darts Championship in an epic clash against Ricky Evans.
The world No6, who was a runner-up at Ally Pally in 2010, was expected to cruise past his darts opponent on Monday night.
But Chisnall missed a crucial match dart before Evans, ranked No45 in the world, triumphed in a thrilling sudden death leg.
With the scores tied at 2-2, both men pulled out some amazing throws to leave the crowd on the edge of their seats.
The pressure saw Chisnall miscount his finish to leave Evans clinging on.
And 'Rapid' made sure to punish the mistake by sealing the final leg 6-5.

Speaking after, Evans revealed his shock and delight at winning the battle.
Referring to himself as a "weird lad from Kettering", he beamed: "I played a world class player, I actually played well for once - normally it's poo, normally it's boring.
"Look at this, I'm a weird Kettering lad, I don't understand it, why are they cheering me on?
"I wished I'd have beat Chizzy 3-0 because my ticker would have been a bit better.

"They kept getting louder and louder, what are they cheering me for.
