THE Tour Championship is upon us with the world's top players will be desperate to head to the Crucible in top form.

The Manchester tournament is the last ranking event of the season and the final chance for the likes of Ronnie O'Sullivan and Judd Trump - who have both received byes into the quarter-finals - to polish their game ahead of the World Snooker Championships.

The world's current top 12 players will star at the tournament with the winner taking home a cool £150,000 as part of an improved prize pot.

Shaun Murphy beat Kyren Wilson in last year's final - but neither player has made it to Manchester this year.
