Comedy legend reveals he regrets affair with Amanda Holden 23 years after fling wrecked her marriage
ACTOR Neil Morrissey has joked about his fling with Amanda Holden — saying: “Don’t f*** a game-show host’s wife.”
The Men Behaving Badly star had a five-week romance with the BGT judge while she was wed to Les Dennis.
Newspaper revelations of the relationship in 2000 led to the marriage crumbling, with Amanda and Family Fortunes presenter Les divorcing in 2003.
In 2014, Neil said on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories that he was still “getting the blame”.
He added: “There were some hateful things that were said in the papers but you know how it turns out — it should be tomorrow’s fish and chip paper.
"But people are still going on about it.”

Neil, 61, has now brought it up again on the Restless Natives podcast with Line of Duty actor Martin Compston and Gordon Smart.
Asked which three pieces of life advice he would share with listeners, Neil said: “Don’t p*** into the wind.
"A gentleman’s socks should always match his shoes. Don’t f*** a game-show host’s wife.”
Martin broke down in fits of laughter.
