CORONATION Street's Simon Gregson looked downcast as the Christmas grotto at his wife's cafe was destroyed by Storm Pia.
The couple run a cafe called Morley Tea Rooms in Wilmslow after his wife Emma took over last October.
Storm Pia left a trail of destruction yesterday with many major transport routes affected by 80mph winds.
It sparked Christmas getaway chaos as the forceful drafts battered Britain and halted festive travel plans.
Earlier in the month, Simon, 49, shared a glimpse of the festive grotto on Instagram.
Yesterday, he had to tidy up the aftermath of the havoc wreaked by Storm Pia's strong gusts.

The storm seemed to have ripped the tarpaulin off the marquee frame and toppled massive candy canes.
Emma has described the Cheshire cafe as her “life-long dream business” and it recently won the Good Food Award Blue Ribbon.
Simon, 49 — Corrie’s Steve McDonald — shared a picture of the couple and wrote: “All the crazy hours and hard work has paid off. Oh, and Emma got this award.”
An application for four homes on the site was approved this month despite 188 objections.
Simon and his wife may have to close their award-winning café to make way for the new development.
The pair tied the knot in November 2010.
The pair have three children together - Alfie, 16, Harry, 14, and Henry Teddy, seven.
