Hong Kong police arrest boy, 13, and man, 19, over theft of minibus
Officers later found the minibus about 30km (19 miles) away on Choi Yuen Road near Sheung Shui MTR station and arrested the pair nearby. The third suspect was believed to have left before police arrived.
Police said alcohol was not detected in tests taken during the arrests, and no injuries were reported.
In January this year, police arrested one of two suspects over a HK$250,000 hold-up, with officers finding a car the pair allegedly stole from the victims before crashing it into a lamp post and abandoning it in the New Territories.
The force also detained three men in December last year on suspicion of fabricating a carjacking incident to steal HK$28 million worth of iPhones.
