There's no guarantee that you will find the same bargain as another shopper so always remember to shop around when buying homeware.

Savvy shoppers regularly share their amazing B&M finds.

These latest discounts come just days after shoppers raced to B&M to pick up plants to spruce up their gardens for as little as 10p.

Pet owners have also been picking up essentials for bargain prices at the retailer.

Another shopper shared how she had given her home a glow up without breaking the bank thanks to B&M's bargains.

HOW TO SAVE MONEY AT B&M

Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.

The scanner lets you see if an item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.

Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.

It's always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest B&M store using the locator tool on the website.

According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.

This is when staff slash items to as little as 10p to clear excess stock and make way for new products.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that'll check prices for you - so don't be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
