Callum Jones sparks split fears as he admits he’s not ‘official’ with Jess Gale after leaving All Stars

CALLUM Jones has sparked fears he and Jess Gale will split just days after the Love Island All Stars final.

The couple came second place to Love Island All Stars winners Tom Clare and Callum's ex-girlfriend Molly Smith on Monday night.

Appearing on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast, Callum, 27, was quizzed on whether or not he'd made things official with Jess, 24.

He told host and former Islander Indiyah Polack: "No, do you know what, we’re so compatible.

"I feel like we’ve got a couple of dates planned on the outside. That hotel in London. She loves surprises. Me not so much…"

Jess added: "Callum said it is going to be a surprise… I’m very excited for a surprise!"

Ahead of the final some fans insisted Callum was "using" Jess to make it to the end.

Callum has always insisted that he and Jess formed a connection this time round, after they both appearing on series six of Love Island in 2020.

But some viewers weren't convinced that Callum's feelings are real and insisted he has "no chemistry" with Jess.

One wrote: "Jess and Callum have no chemistry, whether Callum and Molly end up together or not these couples aren’t lasting."

A second posted: "Why are people voting Callum and Jess when they have no chemistry ?? I get people love Callum but it’s the COUPLE that wins??"

Throughout the series fans became obsessed with the idea of Callum and Molly rekindling their romance.

But Jess has spoken out on her concerns about potentially getting in the middle of something.

She said: "I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. But Callum was very reassuring and he put it to bed quickly. So it was smooth running after that."
