My three-year-old daughter doesn’t believe in Santa – parents say it’s my fault but she decided it herself
A MUM has been inundated with questions as to why her three-year-old doesn't believe in Santa.
Taking to social media, Nika Diwa, 34, revealed that she had to ask her tot, Zizi, to not tell kids at school that Father Christmas wasn't real.
In the clip, Nika asked her eldest child what other children in her class think of Christmas.
"Do your other friends in school, do they believe in Santa?" the mum asked.
"Yes ma'am," answered Zizi who added: "And I said he is not real."
Nika then explained that some kids believe in the magic of Santa and asked her daughter to keep thoughts on Father Christmas a secret.

Shaking her head, the young girl said: "I'm not a liar.
"I told the teacher I'm not a liar.
"Mumma, you said no lying."
Nika could only laugh and asked for help in the caption of the now viral clip.
But it seemed that many people were stunned Zizi didn't believe in Santa and asked why she had come to that conclusion at such a young age.
One wrote: "Why’d you tell her Santa’s not real?"
Another commented: "Why does she know Santa isn't real at her age that takes the fun out of Christmas for the kids."
"Why would you ruin the magic of her childhood," penned a third.
"I didn’t!! She doesn’t believe he’s real and I can’t do anything about that," Nika responded.
The mum responded to the comments under the TikTok video, writing: "She decided early on that mama and dada are Santa lol.
"We never told her he isn’t real. We love Santa in our home!!"
"At least she believes in elf on the shelf lol," she added.
In another clip, Nika can be seen asking her daughter who she thinks Santa is and her response left her shocked.
Instead of it being one person - her daughter replied Santa was her mum, herself and anyone else that was kind - which is all part of the spirit of Christmas anyway.
People were quick to share their thoughts on the story of Santa and how they bring it up to children.
One person wrote: "My family explains that Santa is all of the people contributing to the spirit of Christmas. We are all Santa in giving to and loving each other."
Another commented: "Don't have to believe in Santa to have magic in Christmas. You can tell the real story."
