Love Island scraps ‘major rule’ for All Stars series as line-up is revealed
LOVE Island bosses have scrapped a major rule for the All Stars series that will air later this month.
The Love Island All Stars line up has finally been revealed - with a controversial star and a legendary winner in the mix of former stars returning to the villa.
To qualify for Love Island, singletons must be a minimum of 18 years old.
While there isn't a specified maximum age limit, the oldest contestants on record were 30 years old when they applied.
These were Jordan Ring in series one, Marcel Somerville in series three and Paul Knops in series four.
However, a quick scan of the new All Stars line-up shows two Islanders over 30.

They are Chris Taylor, who is 34, and Hannah Elizabeth, who also turns 34 years old in March.
The Islanders' real ages have often been debated by viewers watching at home.
The Scottish stunner Laura Anderson's age was heavily questioned by viewers in 2018.
She was 29 when she entered the villa but trolls insisted Laura was at least 32 after digging up an old Instagram picture.
Hannah shot to fame on the first season of the revived ITV series in 2015.
And Chris, 33, took part in the fifth series of Love Island five years ago.
Glamour model Hannah caught the eye of Jon Clark on day one and the two were crowned winners of the show shortly after Jon got down on one knee to propose.
Despite their connection, two months after returning to the UK they split up and went their separate ways.
Hannah is now a mum to her son Reggie, four, who she shares with her ex George Andretti.
Meanwhile, Chris, a former business development manager originally coupled up with Maura Higgins, 33, but later paired with Harley Brash, 25.
They gave it their best go when they returned to the UK, but Chris and Harley were the first couple to split from their season.
Chris later moved in with his co-stars Michael Griffiths, 32, Jordan Hames, 28, and Danny Williams, 26, in lockdown - who were coined as “Destiny’s Chaldish” after their laddish ways in the villa.
Love Island fans were shocked when Chris and Maura, 33, announced they were a couple, but later split in May 2021.
