Here’s the ideal temperature your bedroom should be to get the perfect night’s sleep & it’s much lower than you think
WITH the freezing temperatures, some may have found it difficult to sleep.
It's hard to drift off when your toes and nose are so cold they're numb.
But equally, it's just as frustrating to not be able to sleep when temperatures soar over the summer months.
Keeping your bedroom at the ideal temperature can be tricky to ensure you sleep soundly.
Experts have revealed the perfect temperature to keep your room at - and it might be lower than you expect.
Rob Nezard from UK Radiators says the ideal temperature for sleeping is between 15.5C to 19.4C.
The radiator expert said a cooler environment helps when your body naturally cools down during the night.
He said: "The ideal sleep temperature is between 15.5C and 19.4C.
"This is because your body temperature naturally dips slightly during sleep and a cooler environment helps facilitate this process."
Rob recommends keeping your radiator on a low setting or even turning it off completely before going to bed.
He added: "You can also use a radiator timer to control their temperature during the night."
And for an even sweeter night's slumber Rob recommends getting a 13.5 tog duvet for during the winter months.
