Hong Kong driver arrested over traffic accident that killed 79-year-old woman

The driver of the seven-seater was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death, while another passenger from the vehicle, an 81-year-old man, was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin.

The driver of the seven-seater, two other passengers and the motorist behind the wheel of the Telsa were also listed as injured.

Photos circulated online showed the front sections of both vehicles had been seriously damaged and airbags had been deployed.

The images also show a young man and a woman sitting on the pavement near the Tesla car as emergency personnel attended to those in the seven-seater.

The accident has also affected bus route 74K.
