AN ELEGANCE pro has revealed the seven perfumes you need to ditch if you don’t want people to think you smell cheap.
So if you want to smell fabulous, you’ve come to the right place.
Amira Bessette, an elegance coach, explained that there’s seven perfumes that you need to bin, as not only are they too mainstream, but many of them smell cheap too.
But if you’re a fan of the high street favourites by Ariana Grande, or have been wearing Chanel No. 5 for years, prepare to be attacked.
Sharing her thoughts on social media, Amira said: “Seven perfumes you should never wear if you wish to smell elegant.”
Amira then listed the fragrances she can’t stand, as she revealed: “Baccarat Rouge, Delina, Good Girl, God is a Woman by Ariana Grande, Cloud by Ariana Grande, Chanel No. 5, Angel.”

Justifying her claims, Amira explained: “There are many different reasons as to why I chose these fragrances.
“Some of them are way too mainstream. They have too many dupes.
“For example, Baccarat Rouge - the entire Oxford Street smells like it.
“Some of them simply smell cheap.
“They are not multifaceted enough.
“Or the fragrance compositions don’t go well together.
“Or they used to smell elegant and then they changed the composition, so the perfume started smelling very superficial and cheap.
“The other reason is because lots of these brands are not cruelty free and elegant women only use cruelty free products.
“And also because none of them, except Ariana Grande's perfumes, are clean beauty.
“You are basically spraying disruptors on your skin.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @amira.bessette, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 180,000 views.
But social media users were divided at Amira’s claims - while many were eager to agree with her, others were stunned at her thoughts.
One user wrote: “As someone who collects perfumes I agree 100%.”
A second shared: “I agree 20000%!!!!”
Whilst another beauty fan explained: “I don’t agree with a lot of your videos but I agree with this one.”
However, at the same time, one person said: “How can you say that Chanel 5 is not elegant!!!!? It’s one of the best and most elegant perfumes in the world.”
Another added: “Delina is elegant.”
A third commented: “Good girl is amazing.”
