A MAJOR car brand has revealed its new fully electric SUV which features ultra high-tech headlights.

Vauxhall has officially begun taking orders for its much anticipated new Grandland.

The stylish and dynamic SUV will be available in three all-electric models: Electric Design, Electric GS, and Electric Ultimate.

All are equipped with a 73kWh battery and 213PS motor offering significant range and performance.

Motorists looking to get behind the wheel of the Electric Design model will be able to drive up to 325 miles without charging.

The Electric GS follows closely with a maximum of 323 miles and the Electric Ultimate boasts a range of 318 miles.

Vauxhall's new Grandland is the largest model of their refreshed SUV line-up.

The electric motor will feature a new state-of-the-art lighting system.

Vaxhaull's Intelli-Lux Pixel Matrix HD headlamps use 50,000 individual elements and a camera to enhance visibility and ensure that other drivers aren't dazzled by the car's bright lights.

The Grandland also boasts high-tech safety features such as rear cross-traffic alert, lane change assist and a 360-degree surround-view parking camera.

The popular car brand hopes these safety measures improve the driving experience, particularly in urban environments.

A mounted 10-inch infotainment touchscreen features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across all of the new models.

The GS and Ultimate variants boast a larger 16-inch touchscreen.

Vaxhaull claims their brand new motor offers not just efficiency but also performance.

Drivers will be able to choose from three modes to optimise the vehicle's energy recovery and range.

The Grandland can go from 0-62mph in just nine seconds.

The price for these models is set to start at £40,995 for the Electric Design with the most expensive being the Electric Ultimate costing £45,195.
