A WOMAN has been slammed after she asked for advice on her wedding guest outfit option.

Choosing a dress for a wedding can be a tough challenge - with white off the cards, not only do you want to look fabulous, but you want it to be appropriate too.
However, one woman has left people totally stunned at her choice of dress for an upcoming nuptials.
Posting on Reddit, the guest shared snaps of her outfit idea - which many described as ‘trashy’.
Not only this, but social media users also claimed that the ‘butt crack ruching’ was ‘never appropriate for a wedding’, whilst others thought it gave ‘reality TV show reunion’ vibes.

The post, which was shared on the page ‘Weddingattireapproval’ has left many open-mouthed, as the woman asked: ‘Is this giving wedding guest or prom?’
The Reddit user shared snaps of her Skims-style dress - a skin tight, strappy slip dress, with an open back.
The maxi dress had a scoop neckline with crossed straps on the back, as well as ruched detailing.
The fashion fan explained: “I don’t have much time to order a dress. Wedding is this weekend, there’s a store near me and they have this dress I like.
“But I know people usually buy dresses for prom from this store."
She then questioned: "I’ve never been to a wedding, would this look weird?”
The post was shared just two days ago, but has quickly racked up many comments from Reddit users, claiming that the dress is inappropriate for a wedding.
One person said: “I don’t think this is a good fit for a formal dress code.
“The fabric looks too casual, especially with the ruching in the back.”
