The 25 year old has two children of her own, aged 2 and 7 months.

She also looks after up to four other babies, which is the amount of non-related children you are allowed to look after without needing a licence in her home of New York.

Kyra shared an insight into her side hustle via a video posted to her TikTok channel.

She said she started out by looking after her friend's children whilst they were at work, and then started advertising her services on Facebook.

"I posted to local mum Facebook groups with a cute little ad about my babies", she said.

Kyra's side hustle means she has to change mountains of nappies, but she gets paid handsomely for her work.

The mum of two said she charges £4 per baby per hour.

This means that if she had four babies from 8-4 Monday to Friday she would earn around £630 a week or £2500 a month.

She added that for an extra cost, she can provide the kids with meals but said that most parents bring their own food for the kids.

To keep the kids entertained, Kyra has lots of rockers, bouncers and play pens in her home.

I wanted to be a stay at home mum so started a side hustle while my kids napped - I now earn six figures and my husband stays at home too

She also has the TV on, so the kids can watch cartoons whilst she does other tasks like cleaning.

Kyra advised anyone making thinking of setting up their own home day-care to make sure your home is always clean and baby proofed.

The stay at home mum said that she comes from a large family, so is used to having lots of babies to look after.

She added said that her husband, who works nights, often helps her to look after the children when he comes home from his shifts.

Are you taxed on side hustle earnings?

PLENTY of households are taking on side hustles such as babysitting or setting up an eBay store to boost their earnings.

And luckily, you can use a "trading allowance" which means you don't have to pay tax on any yearly gross income of £1,000 or less.

However, if you do earn over the £1,000 threshold, you will have to declare it to HMRC.

You can claim a trading allowance via Self-Assessment on the government's website.

First, you need to inform them you're a sole trader and tell them how much you earn in income, when you started and who you are.

HMRC will then send you a UTR number, which you can use to submit a Self-Assessment tax return.

The tax year runs from April 6 to April 5 of the following year, and the deadline to pay is the following January 31.

Kyra's TikTok, which was posted under the username @lillian_2000 has likely left many impressed, as it has racked up over 400,000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Kyra's side hustle.

One user said: "That is not a side hustle, that is a business. Rock on".

Another user said: "I'm so impressed by the fact that you are not only taking care of other kids but also your own".
