WHILE the sunshine hasn't arrived just yet, hopefully it won't be too much longer until we're all making the most of the warmer weather in our gardens.

But if you've been debating whether to give your tired-looking fence a glow up before hosting friends and loved ones in your outdoor haven this summer, then now could just be the time to do it.

And if you're after some inspo, then you may just want to listen up...

That's because one savvy homeowner named Raquel has revealed how she spruced up her garden fence in an instant - and all while on a budget.

Rather than spending a small fortune on a new fence, she instead decided to snap up an artificial trellis from Home Bargains - and it cost just £6.99.

Moments later, she explained how she simply used three of the faux trellis pieces from the bargain high-street store and attached them to the fence using nails.

And amazingly, she revealed they've even stood the test of time...and the unpredictable British weather.

Alongside the post, she penned: "If you’re looking for affordable garden DIY then you’re in the right place!
