LOVE Island star Belle Hassan has revealed she's ‘banned from Big Brother’ as she claimed the ITV show has a strict new rule.

The 25-year-old shot to fame on the fifth series of the ITV2 dating show in 2019.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Belle said: "Big brother has been a dream of mine since I was a kid.

"I actually applied for this series. I didn't initially want to do the celebrity one but Celebrity Big Brother would be a dream.

"I would literally die to do that. I would do that for free."

However Belle's job could have been the reason she didn't get housemate status.

When asked if she had an interview, she said: "No, they didn't want any influencers."

A TV source said: “There's no hard and fast rule - Henry from the previous series was a content creator - but there are a lot of people in the mix and thousands of people audition.”

Belle was a freelance make-up artist before she went into the villa.

She now has a huge following on Instagram where she shares make-up looks with her 917k followers.

Belle entered the villa on day 26 and instantly grew a connection with Anton Danyluk.

The pair went from strength to strength, but ended up being dumped just before the final.

Just weeks after returning to the UK they split.

Anton is one of the legendary Islanders taking part in the upcoming All Stars series.

Belle is on speaking terms with her former flame.

Discussing if she was surprised to see Anton in the line-up, Belle told us: “To be honest, I wasn't, me and Anton are still on very friendly terms, so I saw him last year in Marbella, he had a girlfriend at the time.

“His girlfriend was an absolutely lovely girl - really, really lovely girl.”

She continued: “We don't speak every day. We don't have phone calls, but if I see him out like I did in Marbella, I always say hello.

“We're not on bad terms at all.”

Belle is now in a relationship with rugby star Luke Crosbie.
