Brit, 23, dies in plunge off hotel balcony in Zante after ‘falling head first while climbing on the railings’
A BRIT tourist is dead after falling from balcony railings in Zante.
A 23-year-old man died on Wednesday while trying to climb off a balcony and lost his balance before plummeting 1.5m head-first to the ground from around.
The young Brit allegedly tried to stand up after the incident but fell over twice.
He was taken to Zakynthos hospital and tragically died, Parapolitika reports.
On the same day, another Brit man was discovered after falling from a balcony and has seriously injured himself.
He was immediately taken to the same hospital as the first Brit and intubated.

The incidents are separate and occurred at different hotels.
In both cases there does not appear to be any third party involvement but an investigation is being carried out by Zakynthos Police.
