‘My heart is pounding!’ gasp Countryfile fans as farmer’s life hangs in the balance scaling cliff for rescue mission
ADAM Henson was left worried for a farmer as he attempted to rescue his sheep in dramatic scenes.
The Countyfile presenter had his head in his hands as a flock of sheep came off a clifftop path.
During the latest episode viewers watched as Adam, 58, visited Tintagel Castle in Cornwall to speak with a sheep farmer.
He revealed how he wanted to move his flock to a different part of the cliff the impressive castle sits on.
While moving the animals the farmer lay down a wooden path he had hoped they would follow.
However, things went horribly wrong when the sheep came off the path and began scaling the cliff.

The chaotic scenes saw Adam and his team climb the cliff to bring the flock back to safety while the farmer tied one to a fence in the hope the rest would tend to her.
But just as it appeared the situation was under control, the sheep strayed to an even stepper part of the cliff.
Adam remained back for safety and placed his head in his hands while the farm went after them without any safety equipment.
BBC viewers at home were left on the edge of their seats by the episode and took to social media to comment.
One said: "My heart was pounding with the sheep on the cliff."
A second wrote: "This episode with the Tintagel Soay sheep is nuts."
"No wonder those sheep didn't want to be forced up that mountain...Good God," said a third.
While a fourth posted: "Quite intense with the sketchy sheep."
