PGA Championship second round DELAYED after ‘serious accident near Valhalla golf course’
THE start of the second round of the PGA Championship has been delayed after a man was killed in a fatal road accident outside the venues gates.
Reports from the US say a man was hit and killed by a shuttle bus outside the course's gates.
Traffic was completely stopped outside the course in the wake of the tragic accident.
The PGA initially offered an update that the second round would be delayed because of a "serious accident".
The PGA Championship wrote on X: "The start of Round 2 is delayed due to a serious accident near the course.
"The next update will be at 12pm BST and the starting time will be at least one hour after an update is made."

The action had been due to start at 12:15pm with the first group going out on the course.
