World’s most glam garage worth £277m owned by fashion legend who ‘treats Ferraris & Bugattis like priceless paintings’

THE WORLD'S most glam garage gleams with the shine of dozens of classics and supercars - a sight sure to make any car fanatic tear up.

The sprawling space fits 60 prestigious cars, ranging from a 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago Super Veloce to a 1938 Bugatti Atlantic.

Not only is Ralph Lauren an iconic fashion designer, but the man has impressive taste in cars.

The legend's eye-watering £277million collection is a reflection of his commitment to style, class, and elegance - in all aspects of life.

Stepping into Lauren's private, underground garage is comparable only to entering a world where time has ceased to exist.

Each car in his collection emphasises design, performance, and significance - historically speaking.

Spanning decades of car manufacturing, all of his cars tell a tale that showcases the evolution of motoring.

One of the rarest cars in Lauren's possession is the 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic - which is frequently revered as one of the most beautiful cars to have ever been made.

Adding to the Bugatti's timeless appeal are the classic coupé lines and dorsal seam running alongside the entirety of the vehicle.

Only four models were ever built, with one being sold to the British banker Victor Rothschild, and one being sold to R.B. Pope of Britain - the latter of which has found a new home in Lauren's garage.

Also in Lauren's collection is the similarly-rare 1938 Alfa Romeo Mille Miglia Spyder.

Alfa Romeo built four racing spiders for the 1938 racing season, which many consider to be the best pre-war sports car to have ever been conceptualised.

Only four of the beauties were ever made - all of which are thought to be among the most sacred of vintage cars in the world.

Cars are art. They're stylish, they move, they're an exciting part of our culture

Car experts have suggested that the motoring masterpieces could fetch at least seven figures if they were ever sold at auction.

But Lauren's collection is hardly limited to the ultra-rare, ultra-limited edition vintage classics.

The fashion icon has also collected enough modern supercars to haunt the dreams of every formula one driver out there.

From the 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago Super Veloce, which can shoot from zero to 100mph in under seven seconds, to the uber-sleek design of the 2006 Bugatti Veyron, and the classic McLaren F1 racer.

The fashion legend revealed in a 2017 interview that much of his professional life has been inspired by cars.

"Cars are art. They're stylish, they move, they're an exciting part of our culture," Lauren told CarJam TV.

The billionaire added that his passion came from a time when he couldn't afford a car, but desperately wanted one.

"I've been inspired by cars in many different ways.

"Fashion for me it's part of part of living and part of your impression of who you are and what you want to say about yourself.
