BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty stuns viewers with X-rated joke while hosting Have I Got News For You

NAGA Munchetty stunned Have I Got News For You viewers with an X-rated joke on air.

The BBC Breakfast star, 48, was in the hosting seat for the latest episode of the comedy quiz show.

Naga was joined by guest panellists Maisie Adam and Richard Osman.

During one round she told them how they would be shown four pictures, with each team having to guess which one didn't fit.

They were show a snap of footballer Mo Salah, an iceberg, map of Australia and King Charles' curtains.

Paul Merton was the first to answer, suggesting the iceberg "floated away from all the other ice".

He also added: "Is it five times the size of Britain, or something like that?"

Naga then replied: "It's twice the size of Greater London."

While the audience erupted into laughter at Paul's mistake, Naga had an epic comeback.

She said: "It's so unlike a man to exaggerate size, isn't it?"

Viewers at home were in awe of Naga and called on her to be made the permanent host of the show.

Writing on social media, one fan said: "Definitely one of the best #HIGNFY I've seen in a long time. Real chemistry from the panelists and fantastically hosted by Naga."

A second posted: "Give Naga the gig permanently please."

"Naga Munchetty needs to host Have I Got News For You every week," said a third.

While a fourth wrote: "Naga is a class act, my fave."
