‘Give him an Oscar!’ screech Homes Under The Hammer fans as they spot homeowner’s VERY awkward moment ‘dodging camera
HOMES Under The Hammer fans all made the same joke about one homeowner’s appearance on the BBC show.
The presenters visited different rundown properties across the country, which were due to undergo remarkable transformations.
During the episode, Martin Roberts jetted off to Tonypandy, South Wales, to see a three-bed mid-terrace, bought unseen by a relatively inexperienced developer.
He also visited a large, derelict, five-bedroom property in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, riddled with dry rot but with great development potential.
Meanwhile, Jacqui Joseph went to see a four-bedroomed, three-storey end-of-terrace property in Herne Hill, London, with character and lots of opportunity to add value.
Young homeowner Michael bought the property at auction for £590k and spent over a year renovating it.

Altogether, he spent £655K on transforming the project, and in the end, he decided to live in the house with his partner, Fabio.
Addressing the viewers at home, the homeowner explained: “Because we decided that we’re actually going to stay in the property, we’ve taken a bit more time and added a bit more personality into the design using bold colours such as black and pink, was really important to us.
“Keeping our personal touch and flare was really important.”
As Micheal's segment ended, viewers at home saw him in the tight-spaced backyard drinking a cup of tea while taking in his impressive makeover.
Fans of Homes Under the Hammer took to X(Twitter) and penned down their views after spotting Micheal trying his best to look away from the camera and act natural.
Alongside a clip of the funny moment, one user penned: “More excellent acting on Homes Under the Hammer today. Homeowner giving a full ‘feeling at home in my patio area’ performance.”
Replying to the tweet a viewer said: “Whenever you tell someone to act normal on camera, they do the exact opposite.”
A second added: “He looks like he's scared he'll be turned to stone if his eyeline briefly catches the lens.”
“A sim acting natural,” teased another.
While a fourth person typed: “Omg, like totally agree? So authentic, right? Loving the drama in the patio area, like give that homeowner an Oscar.”
An estate agent estimated the property's value at £1.15m to £1.2m on the local property market.
He also revealed that renting out the property would make Micheal £4,000 to £4,200 a calender month.
