Arrested dad ‘ran around estate’ after 2 women ‘including partner’ were knifed to death on Xmas Day – as boy in hospital
A DAD "ran around an estate" after allegedly stabbing two women to death and leaving a boy injured in hospital on Christmas Day.
The women, 24 and 38, one of whom is believed to have been his partner, were pronounced dead at the scene on Wednesday.
A man in his 20s and a young boy were also rushed to hospital from a property in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, at around 6.30pm.
A dog was also found with significant injuries and had to later be put down by a vet.
The suspect is then believed to have attempted to escape the scene in a car before he was caught by police nearby.
A witness said: "We saw him getting in his car. We were on our balcony telling police: 'He’s there and he just sped off.’"

A 49-year-old from Milton Keynes was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder on Christmas Day.
Another neighbour told The Sun: "At around 6pm a lady came out on the balcony - she’s screaming, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe’."
The neighbour described how the young boy sprinted out the house and sought refuge with another resident on the estate.
He went on: “The dog ran out, covered in blood. Within minutes there were about 12 ambulances.”
Another shocked witness said medics treated a bloodied male in the street before taking him to hospital.
He added: “Paramedics were working on him and the other victims were covered in a white tarp.”
One neighbour, who asked not to be named, previously told The Sun: "It's mortifying.
"I heard all the ambulances last night but you don't expect anything like this to happen around here. And on Christmas day of all days."
A cordon was in place at the scene throughout Boxing Day, with forensics teams seen entering and walking up the stairs of a block of flats.
Shazna Muzammil, a Conservative councillor on Milton Keynes City Council, said in a statement: “This is horrible on Christmas Day and we are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic events in Bletchley.
“Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and neighbours of the two women who have tragically lost their lives.”
Ms Muzammil said those involved in the incident were known to each other.
The two injured boy and man are in a stable condition, Thames Valley Police has said.
Locals yesterday left floral tributes and teddy bears at the scene.
One group attached two bouquets and a grey teddy bear wearing a Father Christmas outfit to the railings around a children’s play area.
A woman in the group said she didn't know the victims, but added: "This is a lovely area. You don’t expect to see this kind of thing here."
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police: "Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit have launched a murder investigation following the death of two women in Bletchley, Milton Keynes on Christmas Day.
"Officers were called to a block of apartments in Santa Cruz Avenue, Bletchley at around 6.36pm following reports of a stabbing having taken place.
"Tragically, a 38-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, both died at the scene."
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Brangwin, of the major crime unit, added: “Firstly I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the women who have tragically died in this shocking incident.
“We have launched a double murder investigation which may be concerning to the wider public, however we have made an arrest and are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and the parties are known to each other.
