Sheffield United Women sack Jonathan Morgan after new allegations made
Jonathan Morgan, the Sheffield United Women’s manager, has been sacked by the club over what they call his “conduct before arriving at Bramall Lane”.
Last month Morgan resumed his duties at the club after an investigation into his conduct. He had stepped away from his job in October after a formal complaint was made against him and the club launched an investigation into his alleged conduct. It is understood the former Leicester and Burnley women manager had been cleared to return to work.
“Due to new information that has come to light within the last few days with regards to Mr Morgan’s conduct before arriving at Bramall Lane, the club has reached the conclusion that Mr Morgan’s position is no longer tenable and his employment with the club has been terminated,” read a statement.
