McDonald’s reveals huge menu shake up including THREE new desserts and side to rival fan-favourite mozzarella bites

MCDONALD'S has confirmed a huge shake-up to its menu, which will feature brand new items and a new side to rival mozzarella bites.

The fast food giant is set to launch a total of seven new items in the coming weeks, including returning favourites.

The new and returning items will be landing on menus across the UK and Ireland from July 17.

First up is the new Birthday Cake Donut, which has a strawberry-flavoured filling and is topped with a buttercream-flavoured icing and sprinkles.

Plus, the Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry and Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry will also be joining the menu.

The Milkybar McFlurry features soft dairy ice cream swirled with mini Milkybar chocolate drops and is topped with raspberry sauce.

Meanwhile, the Munchies McFlurry is filled with biscuit pieces and a caramel cookie dough sauce.

It wouldn't be a new McDonald’s menu without some returning burgers.

Fan favourites the Double Big Mac, Double Big Mac with Bacon and the McCrispy® BBQ Smokehouse will be returning this month.

It is the first time the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse has been on the menu since October 2023.

The burger is made up of chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce, all in a sourdough style sesame topped bun.

To round it all off, McDonald’s has launched a new side – Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers.

These mozzarella dippers are flavoured with garlic and chives in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating.

They are served with rich tomato dip and will also available in a Sharebox.

McDonald's regularly shakes up its menu offering to give foodies a chance to try new and returning items.
