Baby and two adults taken to hospital after being mauled by dog in horror attack
A BABY and two adults have been rushed to hospital after being mauled by a dog in a horror attack.
Armed cops and an air ambulance were scrambled to a residential area in Denton, Manchester, this evening.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Baslow Road, Denton, at around 5:50pm today to reports that several people had been attacked by a dog.
"Three people, a one-year-old child and two adults, are in hospital being treated for their injuries."
An air ambulance helicopter landed on the nearby green earlier this evening following the incident.
The GMP dog unit vehicles have now left the scene and cordons remain in place.
They were seen leading a large dog into a police van following the reported attack.
The conditions of those involved have not yet been disclosed by police but a large emergency services presence remains at the scene.
