‘Run like you’ve never run before’ scream Tesco shoppers as they race to bag ‘keeper’ summer dress that’s only £22.50
A FASHION fanatic has revealed she's found the summer dress that's an absolute keeper - and it was a supermarket bargain.
Alana Thomson, from Glasgow, regularly shares her shopping hauls and clothing finds with her 59,000 followers on TikTok (@alana_thomson_).
In a recent post, the 5ft 2in mum revealed she bagged some new Tesco staples during Florence and Fred's 25% off sale.
The fashion influencer, 42, picked up a black floral jumpsuit, plus a monochrome mini skirt and matching crop top.
But the star of her haul was a stunning green maxi dress, which she picked up in a size 6.
Alana said: "Run to Tesco ladies, she is a keeper."
"How stunning is this dress? This is Tesco, this is like 20 quid.
"She’s got pockets which we all know that I love. She’s got a stretchy waistband and cute puffball sleeves."
She added: "This dress comes in black as well, and do you know it was only £22.50. I’m not joking."
"So see when I say run, run like you’ve never run before to your nearest Tesco before they sell out."
The Green Puff Sleeve Poplin Midi Dress is usually priced at £22.50, but Alana managed to bag it for under £17 with the Clubcard price promotion.
And she's not the only one loving the pretty summer buy.
A fellow fashion fan said: "I bought this last week, never even tried it on. It’s beautiful."
Someone else gushed: "Green goddess."
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "I love Tesco's clothing range, so much nicer than high street.
"I go every Sunday for my weekly shop and spend more on the clothes."
If this has got you dashing to your nearest Tesco, the green dress isn't the only summer buy you should keep a look out for.
Shopper Rosie Henshaw, who wears a size 16-18, urged fashion fans to try the supermarket's new £22.50 khaki green trousers and matching waistcoat, £16, for a look that's bang on trend right now.
"This is just beautiful, this looks like it was so much more expensive than from Tesco", she gushed.

With a tie-waist and elasticated back, they're not just flatting but incredibly comfortable too, so perfect for any summer barbeques or even just a day at work.
The trousers and waistcoat are also available in black if dark green isn't really your thing.
How to look chic on a budget
Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.
- Don't ever spend on designer denim: River Island ''always has such a great selection with fashion- forward jeans that follow the current trends''. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 - UK 18, and three leg lengths - and prices start from an affordable £25.
- There are no rules for jewels: ''Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.''
- Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there really is no excuse of not buying - or selling - pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.
