Britain’s most popular car for weddings revealed – but it costs an eye-watering £1,600 to rent
BRITAIN'S most popular wedding car which costs an eye-watering £1,600 to rent has been revealed.
The most popular car to use during a wedding is the Audi R8, famed for its 4.2-litre V8 petrol engine.
There are now 189,800 videos on TikTok featuring a happy couple getting into the beast.
With 414bhp and 317lb ft of torque it should manage a 0-62mph sprint in a little over 4 seconds, while you’ll need a smidge over ten seconds to shoot from 0-100mph.
But the R8 comes at a price, costing around £1,608 per day. The second most popular wedding car is the Land Rover Defender which costs £1,370 daily to hire.
ATS Euromaster, who compiled the data, found that 13,700 TikTok users posted videos featuring a Rolls-Royce Phantom being used as a wedding car. The classy motor costs around £425 to hire out.
