Gamers have been hit by downtime this morning ahead of the new update.
Taking to X one fan said: "Big sad about Fortnite being down."
A second wrote: "Fortnite servers are down looks like I’ll have to go to bed on time tonight wow."
V-Bucks is a form of virtual currency used in the game Fortnite, which can either be earned in the game or paid for using real money.
Virtual currency isn’t just restricted to Fortnite, with other popular games such as FIFA using their own type of credit.
V-Bucks are used to buy in-game skins for characters, and other items.
Up to 13,500 V-Bucks can be purchased at once.

Epic games is yet to reveal exactly when downtime will come to an end, but maintenance typically lasts for around two hours.
Fortnite has suspended matchmaking today ahead of today's scheduled downtime.
Fans will be delighted to know that a new update is on the way.
However, there will be downtime from 9am this morning.
