Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs have signed the Wales rugby union international Louis Rees-Zammit.
Rees-Zammit, 23, quit rugby earlier this year to pursue a career in the NFL. He joined through the league’s International Player Pathway program. Announcing their signing, the Chiefs hailed their “new signing from across the pond” and dubbed him “Rees-Lightning”.

The Chiefs have won back-to-back Super Bowls and include the great quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The former Gloucester back has 31 caps for Wales and quit shortly before the start of the Six Nations rugby championship.
